Conventa will once again take place at GR in January 2020 and will present many novelties. Already in its 12th year, it remains the main crossroad of the congress industry of New Europe. The goal of the event is not just to make new connections between congress providers and buyers, but also to develop and improve the congress market of new Europe in the sense of quality and creativity.
The biggest novelty is that Conventa is now comprised of 5 interconnected content segments. We started developing them last year and now they are up and running. This way, the Conventa trademark is widening its market and remaining the key event of the congress industry and a comprehensive marketing platform for New Europe.

The tradeshow remains the heart of Conventa, now already traditionally taking place in January and famous for its esteemed guests and visitors and an authentic boutique experience.
Conventa is a story that is strategically well thought out and in return brings measurable and visible results. It’s all about quality, not quantity. Even though the number of hosted buyers at Conventa does not radically vary, Conventa still hosts around 90% of new hosted buyers each year, who must be up to our standards. This is what sets Conventa apart from other similar events on the market.
Festival of events and live marketing
Life is too short to waste time at boring and not interactive events. The purpose of Crossover is to change the way of organising events in the region through innovative event format. Crossover is a mix of learning, exchange of knowledge and views, culinary, fun, rock & roll and music, but most importantly it represents a different format of an event, enabling education and the exchange of experience.
In its 4th edition, Crossover is becoming the center creative platform and the main stage for rewarding the best events under the Conventa Best Event Award.

How to organise interesting, different and effective events
The project, which we experimentally started in 2018, has become a true regional movement. This year it will take place in 12 destinations, and we expect over 400 participants at each event. We search for answers on how to make events and destinations more interesting, different and market-effective. We invite organisers, who would like to learn and exchange ideas in the field of event organising in a relaxed and interactive environment.

We will expand the exhibition space to a new part, where the best information technology providers and providers of event organising tools will present themselves. We will enable them to present their solutions and establish new business opportunities. At the same time, this will be the biggest epicenter of technology providers and event organisers in the region.
