DISCOVER THE HEALING POWER OF SALT AND SEA
In the northern part of the Sečovlje Soline Nature Park, a new and unique outdoor spa centre was opened in the spring of 2013. Visitors are offered a special experience of traditional thalassotherapy in a unique natural environment amidst salt pans using natural products.
Due to its sensitive location in the heart of the landscape park, special attention was given to the arrangement and final appearance. The architectural design of the facilities is visually adapted to the geometry of the salt pans since the smaller wooden facilities are designed to parallel with the lines of the salt-pan worker’s houses. All the facilities are energy efficient and built in accordance with the principles of sustainable development.
