Viva Musica! Festival, where classic goes modern

Viva Musica! festival was established in 2005 and has in past 14 years become the biggest summer music festival and one of the most popular ones in Slovakia. Ever since the first year, the festival with its rich international programme, is proving its true artistic value. The festival offers the fusion of classical music in various forms but all of them performed in untraditional venues, untraditional contexts. Each year brings the visitors an exciting programme of top high-quality and exclusive musical projects. Each year top-level artists from all over the world fill up the stages, halls, squares of Bratislava. By this year 395 concerts in total were organised, over 385 soloists, ensembles and orchestras  performed, and more than 145.000 listeners enjoyed the sounds of music all over Bratislava. This year do not miss one of the eight world known performers that will line up from 27th June to 22th August. The first two concerts were already successfully performed, and six of them are coming up soon.

International Youth Music Festival I.

International Youth Music Festival 2019 will be held in Bratislava from 2 to 5 July 2019. Choirs and orchestras will flood the charming city centre during this summer with one single goal – to bring together the talented musicians from around the world in a unique musical and cultural experience to inspire musicians as they perform and learn together in this Slovak city of music. The festival will be managed by the Bratislava Music Agency, under the patronage of the city of Bratislava.

During this festival Bratislava will host 22 ensembles from 9 countries, which makes more than 550 participants.

This years 10thedition of the international festival will open its stage in Bratislava to young and talented musicians from around the world to join in one big family of world music and present their talents. The choirs and groups will participate in competitive and non-competitive setting in concert halls, churches and outdoor settings in historical city center of Bratislava. All the venues are boasting exceptional acoustics.
