Maribor starts today celebrating the most festive time of the year – the pre-Christmas and pre-New Year time. In Luft 360 bar, on the 11th floor of the Slavija business centre, to the delight of local and as well as foreign visitors, Winter Gathering Zimska luftarca starts welcoming into its wonderous land. Zimska luftarca is a fairy-tale kind of setting that provides to visitors a coty and magical atmosphere overlooking the city.
Zimska Luftarca, part of Maribor’s myriad festive events, provides a place for all lovers of fairytales by Christian Andersen. Luft 360 bar’s terrace, called by locals Luftarca, lets the imagination run wild with being a canvas on which diverse designers created and brough to life their own childhood dreams.
Endless lights, a fireplace, a snowy row of trees, a richly decorated spruce, wooden signposts for the most important city sights, the smell of mulled wine, neatly served chocolate of differnet flavours, are just some of the things that visitors with a fairy-tale imagination and love for magic will find enduring.
Magical winter lights will be switched on at Zimska Luftarca at 4.30pm today. The whole setting will be on display until the 21st of March 2020, when the Spring time replaces the Winter time with the Spring Luftarca. Any congress or business guest to Maribor will have plenty of time to relax and enjoy in the winter setting.
