In 2020, Lipica stud farm will celebrate 440 years of existence. As part of this anniversary, it plans to open a renovated and upgraded hotel

The renovation contractor will be known in January, when the open applications are completed and reviewed. The Maestoso Hotel is set in the heart of Lipica Stud Farm, therefore it doesn’t come as a surprise that the recurring theme of the hotel’s renovation is the white stable fence and hay cubes. The architects’ vision was to make a bigger hotel with more spacious rooms but also to keep it in line with pristine nature.

The human connection with nature takes priority here and for this reason, balconies play a major part of every room. While trying not to interfere with the natural environment, even the green roof is designed with nature in mind. The wellness area with pools, promises some moments of relaxation after biking, golfing, hiking or horse riding. The architectural bureau plans to build a perfect active hotel in the middle of a natural green surrounding, a good choice for all who adore outdoor activities, fresh air and animals. Lipica is, without a doubt, also a great base for exploring nearby sights and places.

The Lipica Stud Farm is one of Slovenia’s pride and joys. The noble white Lipizzaner horses have been here since 1580 and one of the biggest attractions is to watch the horses train accompanied by music. For a more romantic experience, there is also a carriage that takes you around the Lipica estate.
