THE WORLD OF WINE
The wines from Kabaj Morel represent a simple philosophy – producing wines based on special taste. The attention is focused on nature, vineyards and soil. The speciality of the estate and for those searching for something unique is Amfora, wine made in Qvevri. It originates in Georgia, the cradle of viticulture. The winery was four times selected among top 100 wineries in the world by the elite American Magazine, Wine & Spirits. The homestead Kabaj Morel is also an ideal starting point for long walks and exploration of cultural heritage and natural beauties of Goriška Brda.
Where now stands the event space (above the main cellar), there used to be a village inn, where people used to drink homemade wine, offer tobacco and salt. Sometimes they played boule in front of the inn. The estate offers pre-arranged menus and personalized wine choices for gourmet pampering. On request, a guided wine cellar tour can be arranged.
