Don’t let your groundbreaking events go unnoticed!
The competition for the best event in New Europe is reaching its final stage. Conventa Best Event award invites organisers of mind-blowing events to apply with their projects for Semifinal 2. Projects that were carried out from 1 January 2020 to 14 December 2020 can apply in the second stage.
For the first time since the conception of Conventa Best Event Award, the organisers opened two application stages. The first stage was designated for projects that were carried from 1 January 2019 to 17 July 2020. As many live events around the world had to be cancelled due to COVID-19, opening a second application stage was logical.
Finalists from both stages (Semifinal 1 & 2) will come together ONLINE on 20 January 2021, when the audience will be able to cast their vote in an online voting session. The winner of the competition will be ceremoniously announced on 21 January 2021.
Eight amazing projects were selected in Semifinal 1 and presented their projects at Conventa Crossover 2020. This showed just how resilient the meetings industry is, working around strict restrictions that were put in place and innovating at every step of the way.
The team behind Conventa Best Event Award hopes that as many creative events as possible join the finalists from the first stage and showcase their work to the public.
In addition to the 3 existing categories; B2B, B2C and CROSSOVER, the competition also invites organisers of DIGITAL events to enter. This includes; ONLINE, HYBRID and VIRTUAL events.
ONLINE EVENTS
Online events do not have a physical venue. They encompass all forms of LIVE COMMUNICATION (between people, between brands/products/services and people) that are organised in an online environment

VIRTUAL EVENTS
Virtual events do not have a physical venue. They are events where most/all parts of the live experience are transformed into a virtual experience

- VIRTUAL PRODUCT LAUNCHES
HYBRID EVENTS
Hybrid events take place in a predetermined physical venue and simultaneously online, through different online platforms
