AUSTRIAN SPORTS RESORT
Schielleiten Castle is a well-preserved Brunner yellow baroque castle from the late 17th century. Around the manor house, there is an extensive park with ancient trees and embedded in it are modern functional buildings, sports halls and well-tended sports facilities for almost every discipline. The BSFZ Schielleiten is the most traditional location of the Austrian Sports Resorts (since 1936) – and with its unique ambience one of the most beautiful training facilities far and wide. The grounds cover an enormous 43 hectares, a large part of which belongs to the sports facilities.
In the castle and its historical, stylish rooms with an upscale living atmosphere and cultivated hotel character await guests. The baroque library, the state salons, the ballroom and the south-facing terrace provide a wonderful setting for celebrations, weddings, seminars and events of all kinds. With its atmospheric retreats, the castle’s park is also a place of peace and relaxation. In addition to numerous infrastructural facilities, the BSFZ Schielleiten Castle offers a 230 m² castle hall for up to 150 participants.
