COVID-19 STORIES

What’s your country’s COVID-19 safety ranking?

The coronavirus crisis has taken centre stage everywhere around the world this year and each country is doing its best to deal with the virus and prevent it from spreading while also keeping the economy afloat. In April, Deep Knowledge Group, a consortium for scientific research and analytics, published an analytical representation of the world’s COVID-19 standings.

Slovakia is one of the safest countries to stay for COVID – 19

Slovakia was among the first countries that implemented radical measures against the spread of the coronavirus. Thanks to these quick steps, the Slovakian government is ranking on the top places of the health safest countries in Europe for COVID-19.

Will we be wearing masks at events of the future?
Kongres Magazine’s Editor in Chief delved into the topic of wearing masks at events in April.

Remember how flying changed after 9/11? It seems that the coronavirus will change how we attend events as well. I anticipate changes to be gradual, layered and we certainly won’t be able to avoid them in the near future.

New SURVEY Says Meeting Planners Are Very Concerned

HIDDEN GUEST

Among the most-read stories are the traditional congress travelogues or meetologues. Our readers access these articles through our well-accepted venue finder on our front page. Before the epidemic this year, we managed to evaluate four destinations in Bulgaria, bringing the number of evaluated destinations to 106. We are proud that our methodology is a credible source of information for event organisers.

HIDDEN GUEST – Hotel Arte SPA & Park

Any European incentive destination could do with a hotel like the Arte Spa&Park. We think it is an excellent choice for incentive programme organisers. It seems as if it was designed just for them. The interior design of the lobby indicates that this is not a conventional hotel, but rather one that combines top-notch hotel service with trendy design, making it an instant hit in Bulgaria. We think it’s time that it becomes a hit among European meeting planners as well.

HIDDEN GUEST – International Hotel Casino & Tower Suites

Hotel International is the main congress hotel in Varna. It’s been quite some time since the last renovation, but the hotel does a good job of hiding its years. We could say that it is a grown-up hotel, well maintained, still in great shape and without any foibles of a teenager. Great location, modern ambient and excellent service make it one of the best congress hotels in Bulgaria.

Marketing In Times Of A Global Pandemic
Published on 17th March 2020

14 days ago, I thought that this would all blow over. I never would have thought that the world will come to a complete halt and we would be confined within the borders of our homes, villages, cities, countries, regions or continents. I hope this is the first and last time, but it would be too naive to say that. Humour is gone, the joys of organising events prohibited, inopportune questions frowned upon, doubt eliminated and distance urged. These are extraordinary conditions, my colleagues.
