We offer you an insight into some of the latest openings and renovations in Slovenia, which might serve you as an inspiration for your next incentive or business travel. Though some of the accommodation facilities might be small in size and thus not suitable for larger groups, they can surely serve as an inspiring setting for a team-building or an exclusive meeting.

Hotels with Conference Facilities

In summer 2020, Park Hotel, the largest hotel in Bled and a member of Sava Hotels & Resorts reopened its doors after being fully refurbished. The hotel now tells the story of water and the park. A new and unique appearance has been given also to the indoor thermal pool on the upper floor of the hotel, which offers breathtaking views of Lake Bled.

In Ljubljana, the capital of Slovenia, the new kid on the block, The Fuzzy Log, joined the Union Hotels Collection. The fifth member of the Union Hotels Collection is designed for the digital nomads and forward thinkers, who can log in, fuss-free. It is also the only accommodation facility of its kind in this part of Europe that meets the strict COVID-19 standards to the greatest extent possible, as accommodation units are separated from each other. Further information is available here

Another great story, set under the mighty peaks of the Julian Alps, is the rebirth of four once-legendary hotels in Bohinj that were bought by the wealthiest Slovenian millennial Damian Merlak, who has made more than 100 million euro with the sale of Bitstamp, one of the world’s largest cryptocurrency exchanges. While Triglav Aparthotel has already been completely renovated – the hotel now offers 27 bright, functional and modern apartments – the other hotels (Zlatorog, Bohinj and Ski Vogel Hotels) are still under construction. The owners aim to restore their old glory and attract visitors who know how to appreciate luxury in unspoilt nature. The opening of the Bohinj Hotel is planned for 2021.
