NEO-GOTHIC STYLE CASTLE FOR EVENTS

Keila-Joa Schloss Fall is a magnificent, neo-gothic style castle built in 1833 in the tiny town of Keila-Joa, about a 35-minutes drive from Tallinn. Here visitors can get a taste of the local historical and cultural heritage in beautiful, natural surroundings. The castle’s elegant atmosphere makes it an excellent venue for conferences, seminars, and all kinds of special events. An on-site restaurant, Cher Ami, offers food made from local produce and influenced by classical French cuisine.

The knight’s Castle Keila-Joa Schloss Fall, which emerged already in the 19th century next to Keila River and one of Estonia’s most beautiful waterfalls, has seen different times throughout history: it has been grand and glorious, but also forgotten… The castle’s history is a fascinating and lively snapshot of Estonian history, linking it to the mighty empires, shiny rulers and big personalities. According to the legend, it was here in 1833 that the future imperial Russian national anthem was first performed during a visit of the Russian Emperor Nikolai I.

From the windows of the castle the guests can admire the majestic park and in the background one of Estonia’s highest and most beautiful waterfalls. There are also many long, clean white sandy seashores in the immediate vicinity. Local hiking trails, a surf school, and the internationally renowned Estonia’s oldest golf course – Niitvälja Golf, offer possibilities for active leisure. Within a radius of twenty kilometers there is a number of lighthouses with a long and distinguished history, restored manor complexes, and historical sights, but also top-class restaurants.
