Lifting the occupancy requirement also means that restaurants, museums, cinemas and theatres no longer need to limit the number of visitors and can welcome larger groups.
The easing of restrictions has been gradual, but consistent within the past few weeks, signalling that Estonia is ready to open for domestic and international events.
Meeli Jaaksoo, head of business tourism in Visit Tallinn welcomes the decision to ease restrictions: “We believe that lifting restrictions will fill Tallinn with events and visitors and we hope that the large international events planned for the autumn will also be able to proceed without any issues.”
