The jury of Conventa Best Event Award has selected the finalists of the 2021 competition
Conventa Best Event Award is an annual competition that awards the best events in the region of New Europe. A competent international jury, ensuring that only top-level events make it to the final rounds of live voting, are evaluating the events. Every member of the jury makes their decision individually on the basis of their expert knowledge, reputation, and authority. Every year, the grand finale of the competition is held at the Conventa Crossover conference. The evaluation of registered events follows a unique three-level model 80:20 (80% of the votes come from the jury and 20% from the audience at the Conventa Crossover conference).
From 24 applications and 20 shortlisted projects, 18 of them exceeded the threshold and earned a place in the final. Looking back at the many obstacles and challenges that the meetings industry has had to face, the organisers are satisfied with the number of registered projects and their quality.
Gorazd Čad, the Co-Founder of the project, emphasized: “The competition is an indicator of the industry’s condition and enables comparison while showing the way for the future. Judging by the registered projects, the regional meetings industry has a bright future ahead.”
LIVE VOTING AND ANNOUNCING THE WINNERS
Finalists will be presenting their projects on Thursday, 26 August 2021 at 17:00 at the GR – Ljubljana Exhibition and Convention Centre. Attendees will be able to support their favourite event agency by joining the live voting session and contributing to the final score. The grand finale, where the winner will be chosen will be taking place on Friday, 27 August 2021 at 18:30 in Švicarija (Tivoli Park).

CATEGORY B2B (Business-to-Business events)
Huawei Eco-Connect Poland 2020
This project was the most important Huawei Enterprise event in Poland in 2020. It was made online and was addressed to four groups: partners, IT companies, the media, new customers.
The goals of the Bynet Friends event were clear: to provide a respite from the situation outside (covid-19), to provide a job for the entertainment industry that sat at home, and to market the company in the best way in between lockdowns from Covid-19.
DOK – ING Presentation of new innovative robotic system
DOK-ING is a global leader in development and production of robotic systems for special purposes. With this event they wanted to introduce an innovative robotic remote-control system for operation in extreme conditions.
