BACK TO THE ROOTS
The Special House is nestled in the valley that borders the Karst region and the hills of the Vipava Valley. It is surrounded by beautiful green nature. The area is greatly influenced by the Mediterranean, which is reflected in the mild climate, vineyards, orchards and olive plantations. The venue offers an inviting restaurant in a unique brick cellar, thus serving as an excellent starting point for incentive programmes.
Art has played an important role in the venue’s story for decades. That is why they offer event attendees in a group of 50 people the opportunity to enjoy extraordinary art and excellent food. Meeting planners can even opt to offer their attendees workshops on folk singing and dancing.
The venue lies in a picturesque valley at the crossroads of the Karst region and the Vipava Valley. It would be difficult to imagine a better starting point for cycling. The trail leads through the romantic Karst landscape all the way down to the seaside. All this is accompanied by pleasant Mediterranean scents and beautiful Karst villages. On the other hand, the Vipava Valley, surrounded by hilly terrain, has been long a well-known challenge in cycling circles. The venue offers the possibility to rent an array of bicycles.
Traditional cuisine with a modern twist will guide guests through the specialities of local culinary traditions. The culinary offer of The Special House includes, in particular, food of the Littoral region that is typical of this area. Their motto is: Back to the roots!
