Congrex Switzerland today announced that its Board of Directors have appointed Silvano Schär as Chief Commercial Officer (CCO) and Stephane Dazet as Chief Operations Officer (COO) of the company.
Silvano joined the company in 2010 as a sales representative and worked his way up to head of global marketing and sales activities. He has an executive MBA from the University of Berne and over twenty years of experience in the business events and hotel industry.
“I look forward to this new role and to working even closer with our CEO Julia Bicher, our Chief Key Account Officer Sabine Adam, and our new COO Stephane Dazet. We have a fantastic team of professionals at Congrex, who do their utmost to make it easy for our clients to concentrate on the scientific content of their conferences while being assured that the events run without a hitch,” said Silvano Schär.

Stephane has over twenty-two years of experience in the healthcare and business events industry and possesses a deep knowledge of medical association congresses. He has worked for leading European medical associations, in the pharmaceutical industry and for an
international PCO.
