A group of international event organisers visited Belgrade after the end of the Conventa trade show 2022. The 14th edition of the exhibition for meetings, events, and incentive travel took place in Ljubljana from 24 to 25 August 2022.
The tradeshow was attended by 92 exhibitors (hotels, convention centres and convention bureaus) and 145 hosted buyers (event organisers) from 33 countries. Conventa 2022 was a milestone event, as over 2180 meetings were held over the course of the show.
After the show ended, Belgrade welcomed hosted buyers from Conventa for a two-day fam trip. The tour included some of the highlights of the Serbian capital, as well as Novi Sad and its vicinity. Familiarisation trips help raise awareness about what Belgrade and Serbia have in store for international meeting planners.
Serbia Convention Bureau organised the fam trip in cooperation with Radisson Collection Hotel, Old Mill Belgrade, Hilton Belgrade, Radisson Blu Plaza Hotel Ljubljana, The Royal Compound in Belgrade and Nikola Tesla Museum.
