A FESTIVAL VENUE SET IN THE HEART OF AN OLD QUARRY
In a town with less than 700 inhabitants, only 4 kilometres away from Pula, one seemingly ordinary quarry gave birth to the most special stage in Croatia, the home of the Rocks & Stars Festival. The fourth edition of the musical and cultural spectacle took place from July 26 to August 5, and the Vinkuran quarry became the central place of musical entertainment with big Croatian and world stars.
In front of more than 15,000 spectators in 5 days, five big musical names stood on the unique stage of Cave Romane, an outdoor venue in the midst of an old quarry. The festival was opened by Petar Grašo.
Cave Romane is recognised as one of the most beautiful summer stages in the Mediterranean, and the Rocks & Stars Festival is a welcome addition to Istria’s tourism and cultural offer.
Stone found across Croatia
