Prague hosted Mexican and French buyers
In the winter meetings season, Prague Convention Bureau co-organized two fam trips for international buyers. In cooperation with the CzechTourism agency and its representation for Latin America, a fam trip for buyers from Mexico took place at the end of November. Two weeks later, it was followed by a sightseeing trip for French buyers, which also took place in cooperation with the CzechTourism agency and its foreign representation in France.
The program for participants from Mexico who visited Prague and other regions during the seven-day program between 20 and 26 November included tours of hotels suitable for various types of events, as well as a B2B workshop. During the course of the fam trip, the buyers had the opportunity to meet with local meeting services providers and obtain more information about the meetings offer of Prague. Half of the participants of the fam trip were in the Czech Republic for the first time, thus the incentive program in the form of a guided tour of Prague, complemented by a cruise on the Vltava River and a visit to several venues came in handy. The trip to the regions took the participants, for example to Kutná Hora and Plzeň.
Fruitful meetings with local representatives
A similar program was prepared for French buyers who spent a total of four Advent days in the Czech Republic (from 4 to 7 December). The participants of the fam trip visited not only meeting hotels but also other places suitable for various types of events, enjoyed two incentive programs and met with local representatives of congress hotels and DMCs as part of the networking evening.
