EXPLORING THE EVOCATIVE POLISH UNDERWORLD
One of Europe’s most unusual event venues is tucked away 320 metres underground. Guido Mine, in the heart of Silesia, near Katowice, is a one-off mine-cum-event-place that showcases the history of mining in the region. A guided tour of the mining chambers and a hands-on experience illuminate the evocative, if dim, mining underworld. Attendees of this incentive will relish an authentic Polish lunch and an underground party with a DJ.

Each chamber can accommodate from 80 to 180 people each. Attendees will be kitted out with a flannel shirt, wellingtons, a helmet and mining lamps before descending underground to the Mechanical Workshop in the company of an experienced miner. Later, they can enjoy an authentic Silesian lunch in the Pump Hall before freshening up in the mining baths and returning to a party with a DJ in the Research Chamber no.8.

Refreshment in the deepest European subterranean bar
Pump Hall may be the deepest pub in Europe. The Pump Hall distinguishes itself by pairing a historic mining interior with a modern bar. It can accommodate up to 150 people. Here, guests can enjoy Guido beer, brewed by a regional brewery from Gliwice or taste genuine local cuisine.
