Kristina Milinčić, CEO of Sava Center, added that the former translation booths were transformed into VIP areas with 110 seats. The venue has already announced several world-renowned artists will perform here later this year. They include the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra from London, singer Jasmin Levy with the Radio-Television Symphony Orchestra, Portuguese fado singer Mariza and pop singer Ana Đurić Konstrakta.
Milinčić mentioned that the Belgrade Music Festival and Belgrade International Theater Festival are returning to the Sava Center after several years. Sava Center already secured one of the largest global congresses – the World Congress of Cardiologists. Over 7,000 attendees are expected to participate in May 2025.
A venue that celebrates Belgrade’s culture
Over the past half a century, Sava Center has been the epicentre of cultural and artistic events and an exceptional architectural monument of culture. The renovation has once more made Sava Center the hub for events in the region.
The largest convention centre in Belgrade and the former largest convention centre in Europe is a living encyclopedia of Belgrade’s modern history. Sava Center was built in a record time of six months to host the drawn-out OSCE 1977 conference, which lasted for eight months.
