BWH Hotels Central Europe Opens Fourth Hotel in Leipzig: The Best Western Premier Royal Blue opened in June 2024 and is now marketed through the international hotel group. The operator of the new 66-room hotel in Leipzig’s city centre is Leipzig-based Royal Group Hotels GmbH, which has now added its second property to the brand family. After a complete renovation and reconstruction of the upper floors, the hotel shines in new splendour following its opening.

The fully renovated Best Western Premier Royal Blue in Leipzig opened in June 2024 and has joined the group of individual hotels. The new 66-room hotel is operated by Royal Group Hotels GmbH, based in Leipzig, which has been running the Best Western Plus Royal Suites in Leipzig since 2018.

Before reopening, the new hotel was completely modernized and renovated, with the upper floors reconstructed. The property has been redesigned since 2019, starting with a complete gutting and step-by-step rebuilding. The facade was modernized from the outside, and a completely new interior concept was implemented inside. “The new hotel in Leipzig’s city centre is an important location for BWH Hotels. The Best Western Premier is a great addition to our portfolio and strengthens our presence in a city with rising tourism,” says Marcus Smola, Managing Director of BWH Hotels Central Europe.

The Best Western Premier Royal Blue in the East German trade fair and music city is suitable for both business and leisure travelers with its 66 rooms. The boutique hotel is perfectly located in the city centre, within walking distance of the main train station, nestled in the pedestrian zone, and opposite the impressive St. Nicholas Church. The artistic interior design by Michael Fischer, a renowned international artist with Leipzig roots, allows guests to immerse themselves in the history and present of the trade fair city. High-quality materials, surprising design elements, and an innovative lighting concept create an exclusive atmosphere throughout the hotel. All rooms feature marble bathrooms with integrated rainforest showers, making the urban jungle almost forgotten. The hotel’s culinary concept focuses on breakfast, served on the top floor with a view of Leipzig’s old town. In the evening, the hotel bar is open with a view of the city’s evening lights.
