A BOHEMIAN GLASS FACTORY TURNED EVENT SPACE

Glass factory Rückl is a Bohemian glass factory, located in Nižbor, a village only 7 km west of Beroun in the Czech Republic. It is still an operational glass factory but has now also turned to host and offers a unique backdrop for events aspiring to leave a lasting impression.

The premises are suitable for both large-scale events and private workshops. It offers the possibility of using outdoor spaces, industrial spaces of the main building of the glassworks and the building of the visitor centre, in which there is a creative workshop, the so-called “Katr” with a unique artisanal atmosphere.

You will organise an original event in two rooms, most often in a combination of a hot glass show and other crafts and an entertainment program, e.g. music and catering in the next connected room. In the main building, there is an attractive so-called “Educational space”, which is usually the centre of the event, suitable for meetings, sitting, screenings and catering, as well as a grinding room and a smelter, where workshops can take place directly in operation. Parking is located right on the premises.

Get a glimpse into the world of unique production of traditional hand-cut Czech crystal and create together with the masters at the Rückl glass factory , whose tradition dates back to 1846. The site is located 25 min. drive from the airport, 35 min. from Prague and 45 min. from Pilsen.

Possibility of accommodation in a hotel located across the street.
A visit to Nižbor Castle, the center of Celtic culture , can be connected thematically with an event in a glass factory, Celtic symbolism, etc.
The Nižbor railway station is located just a few meters from the glass factory, so you can come to the glass factory by train if you prefer.
The Berounka River offers the possibility of water sports, which together with the experience program in the glass factory represents an attractive event.
In the surroundings you will find beautiful nature, several quality restaurants, etc.
Nižbor is thus a suitable location for an all-day event, with the possibility of indoor and outdoor activities.
The fantastic experience of the company event will be enhanced by a gastro stop at the station excursion restaurant – just a few meters from the glass factory you will find Zastávka Nižbor , run by the well-known actor Tomáš Hanák.
