The eGuide is updated annually ensuring accurate and current information and this year’s edition includes revisions across sixteen sections, from working at height, risk assessment and filming, television and recording to crowd management and catering to name a few.
Michelle Baldwin, head of events, at the NEC Group and chair of the AEV eGuide working group, said, “It’s great to release the 2024 e-Guide. It’s wonderful to work with different venues drawing upon everyone’s industry skills, knowledge and guidance to make sure we are meeting the latest regulations.”
Rachel Parker, AEV director, applauds the publication saying, “The eGuide working group works tirelessly to ensure that it’s up to date with industry standards, consulting our sister associations (AEO and ESSA) along the way and I’d like to thank all involved in the eGuide review. I am proud to be part of the collaboration and guidance this invaluable resource provides.”
Baldwin added, “The e-Guide is a brilliant tool to help create a safe space for all our event Industry colleagues and visitors.”
