The ranking is entirely curated by the events community, which first nominated, and then determined the individuals who made the list. This year, the index saw an impressive 1,086 nominations.
The top three countries represented in the index include the United States with 25 individuals, followed by the UAE with 14, and the UK with 8. Some of the most notable organizations whose employees made it to the list include Group – Brazil, IMEX Group, MCI Middle East, George P Johnson, VOK DAMS worldwide, RainFocus, BW Events, Kenes Group, Amazon Web Services, and Bizzabo.

In addition to the main index, Eventex also announced several smaller indexes that recognize the most influential individuals by events industry sector and geographical region. The indexes recognise The 100 Most Influential Event Professionals Event Professionals, Event Technology Professionals, Event Industry Suppliers, Venue Professionals, and The 100 Most Influential Wedding Professionals.
Indexes with the most influential people in the following regions — Europe, the US, the Middle East, the UK, Asia, Canada, Latin America, and Australia and New Zealand.
