Based on responses from 105 venues and 66 suppliers in October 2024, the report provides valuable benchmarks and trends to help organisations understand their standing within the sector.

- 74% confidence in sector growth
- 11 weeks average lead time
- 14% enquiries from non-UK event planners
- £34,534 average budget of enquiries
- 7 in 10 are upskilling their workforce
- 6% feel supported by the government
The MIA stressed the importance of collaboration within the sector, “The sector’s support in contributing to our quarterly research remains invaluable, as we continue to share these insights with key government departments.
