From 22 to 24 November, Belgrade’s iconic Wine Vision by Open Balkan will return for its 3rd edition. Hosted at the Belgrade Fair, the event will unite winemakers, food producers, and aficionados from 37 countries in a vibrant celebration of Balkan culture and flavours.

Open Balkan Wine Vision promises an unforgettable showcase of regional wines, rakija, and culinary specialities, which have rapidly cemented this event as a must-visit for enthusiasts and professionals alike.  This year, the fair boasts over 650 exhibitors, underscoring its status as a premier gathering on Europe’s wine circuit.

Visitors will have the chance to savour outstanding wines and rakijas crafted by passionate producers who blend age-old techniques with contemporary approaches. The fair’s “Food Vision” section adds a special layer to the experience, spotlighting Balkan dishes presented in imaginative new ways. Here, guests can sample traditional flavours reinterpreted, creating a feast for both the curious and the seasoned connoisseur.

One highlight sure to catch attention is Šumadija’s plum brandy, now officially recognized with protected geographical origin. This distinctive Serbian spirit, steeped in history and tradition, offers a rare glimpse into the craftsmanship of the region, delivering an authentic taste that captures its heritage in every sip.

For industry insiders, the opening day will be filled with B2B meetings, workshops, and exclusive presentations—a prime opportunity for winemakers, distillers, and culinary artisans to network and expand their reach. Meanwhile, the fair’s popular competitions, the Open Balkan Wine Trophy and Open Balkan Rakija Trophy, will allow attendees to witness the best of Balkan craftsmanship firsthand.
