WHICH VENUE IS THE MOST CREATIVE?
This special category will uncover the leading venue that boasts the most outlandish, out-of-the-box and eclectic design out there. The finalists come from Poland all the way to Montenegro.
Each hotel can receive up to three stars in accordance with our criteria:
3 STARS⭐⭐⭐ – final score from 4.81 to 5.00
2 STARS⭐⭐ – final score from 4.61 to 4.80
1 STAR⭐ – final score from 4.41 to 4.60
Creative venues are hotels that impress our hidden congress guests with their bold, unusual design that turns heads.
THE FINALISTS (IN ALPHABETICAL ORDER)
KIMPTOM BEM BUDAPEST
Kimptom Bem is another remarkable hotel in Budapest that has set the bar high for rivals across the city. One of the reasons is its focus on and offering for the meetings industry. Such a holistic package comes with a price, but we believe the value justifies it.
KREINBACHER BIRTOK
Far from generic, Kreinbacher Birtok is a distinct, highly original and, in many aspects, outstanding incentive hotel. It may not be everyone’s cup of tea but it caters to guests seeking authentic and exceptional experiences.
MAMULA ISLAND HOTEL
You will doubtless feel splendid during your stay here, well impressed by the authentic hospitality that always places the guest in the limelight. The ambience is sophisticated and minimalist, oozing quality and subtle prestige.
NOBU HOTEL WARSAW
This American-Polish jewel is undisputedly a game-changer. Many have said it is more than a hotel. That is one of the reasons it has become an icon in Warsaw.
THE BRIDGE MGALLERY WROCLAW
The Bridge MGallery has an industrial design that captures the city’s past and charts its future. Its unmistakable black interior, recognisable brick facade and attention to detail render it one of the city’s best.
ZONAR ZAGREB
The hotel is worth admiration for multiple reasons. Most notably, we were astonished by the urban cosmopolitan concept that is no copycat but the result of Croatian know-how. As such, the hotel has set the bar for Maistra’s selection of City Vibes hotels
WHAT DOES THE EVALUATION OF HOTELS INCLUDE?
The competition primarily showcases best-case examples favoured by event organisers and attendees, tailored to their needs.
The two-phased evaluation includes a self-evaluation by the hotel and an unannounced visit by the hidden congress guest. Our assessors evaluate a hotel based on clear criteria and present where the hotel can improve. The assessors are experts with a wealth of experience in the meetings industry with additional knowledge and experience from the hospitality industry.
Our evaluation matrix is named the Hidden Congress Guest evaluation, comprising 654 criteria. Each category is calculated based on the percentage of fulfilling criteria and the average grade, enabling the hotels to improve each segment and criteria.
