The Wyred app proved indispensable during the second M&I Fest in Marrakech. Attendees could effortlessly scan their colleagues’ badges, discover their profiles and appoint meetings well before the show. The company’s references speak for themselves: they have partnered with the premier Asia-Pacific trade show, AIME, UK-based media behemoth Mash Media, Switzerland Tourism and Messe Frankfurt, to name a few.


Grip has also been instrumental in boosting revenues and driving ROI. Up to now, over 5,000 events have used Grip and some two million meetings were booked through the platform.
Leveraging high touch for the human touch
Besides Grip, the Tech Zone at M&I Fest was enriched by Holoconnects, an industry-leading company specialising in holograms. Their life-size holograms were recently used at the United Nations’ Global Forum, bridging the gap between digital, hybrid and live. Both the Holobox and its younger brother, Holobox mini, can be rented or purchased for events. Attendees at the event could partake in live demonstrations of the innovative product.

Although there are concerns about the limitations of AI, the events industry has been quick to implement AI-powered tools into every part of the business. Together with Grip, M&I has been maximising the potential of digitalised matchmaking.
