HISTORY MEETS MODERN ELEGANCE
Pejačević Manor, built on the site of a former medieval fortress, is one of several castles belonging to the renowned Pejačević noble family. Situated in the heart of Virovitica, the castle reflects a blend of neoclassicism and baroque architecture.
Following an extensive renovation completed in 2019, the manor was transformed into a premier cultural and historical destination. A key part of this project was the creation of the Wooden Age Museum, which explores the role of wood in economic, cultural, and religious life, both past and present. This addition positions Virovitica as a city of exceptional tourism and cultural significance. The surrounding city park was also revitalised, featuring newly planted trees, ornamental landscapes, and restored walkways.

Architecturally, the manor features a distinguished three-wing design in a linear form, with a central hallway flanked by symmetrically arranged rooms. The grand hall and central dome emphasise the estate’s classical elegance, further enhancing its appeal as a venue of historical and cultural prestige.
