In an industry that thrives on connection, collaboration, and adaptability, one initiative is quietly but powerfully shaping the next generation of event leaders: GrowHub, the international training program developed by the Business Event Industry Club (BEIC).
This June, GrowHub returned with a new edition hosted in Łódź, Poland, bringing together 30 young professionals from across Europe and beyond. For two full days, participants immersed themselves in hands-on learning, peer exchange, and deep reflection on what it truly means to grow in today’s event landscape.
In short: GrowHub is where the next generation stops being “the future” and starts shaping the now.
Not Just a Training – A Real Community
Unlike traditional courses or one-off workshops, GrowHub isn’t about passive learning. It’s a peer-driven, immersive format where rising talents work side by side, challenge each other’s thinking, and build connections that often outlast the event itself.
Each edition is co-created by leading BEIC agencies and includes:
– Tactical workshops led by industry veterans
– Honest conversations around burnout, leadership, and purpose
– Multicultural team assignments and live case studies
– And, perhaps most importantly, space for trust, vulnerability, and collaboration

Why This Matters Now
The events world is changing — fast. Technology is transforming how we design experiences. Budgets are tighter. Client expectations are higher. Teams are scattered. And in many parts of the world, political and cultural divisions make cross-border collaboration more difficult than ever. That’s exactly why programs like GrowHub are no longer a nice-to-have — they are essential.

Why Łódź? A City that Surprised Everyone
The June edition of GrowHub was made possible thanks to the generous support of Łódź Convention Bureau and the City of Łódź. Known for its creative energy and industrial heritage, Łódź turned out to be the perfect backdrop for this kind of learning — grounded, welcoming, and full of character. Participants explored the city not only as guests but as professionals who felt deeply hosted and supported. “We now know this city better than our own,” one participant laughed — and they meant it.
What’s Next for GrowHub?
The program continues to evolve, with the next editions already in early planning for 2026. BEIC is actively inviting cities, bureaus, and partners to co-host future editions and help grow the talent the industry so urgently needs. If your city believes in cross-border exchange, fresh perspectives, and empowering young leaders, the door is open.
