Ložionica is a state-of-the-art facility designed for hosting gatherings, organising meetings, presentations, technologically demanding events, and educational projects. It is equipped with cutting-edge audiovisual systems and multimedia content that surpass industry standards, redefining the event experience.
The fire pit arena
One of the most visually striking venues within the Ložionica is the fire pit, conveniently accessible, with a spacious garage with 180 spaces. It showcases a blend of industrial style and contemporary urban architecture. The largest hall accommodates up to 700 seated guests or 1,100 standing attendees. Adjacent to the hall is a spacious exhibition area designed for gatherings.
The second-largest hall comfortably seats 200 guests, and five versatile smaller halls adapt to meetings, presentations, or intimate sessions, with flexible capacities from 20 to 100 seats.
Cutting-edge technology
The venue features a 19-square-meter LED screen, a cinema screen, multiple projection screens, a high-quality sound system, excellent acoustics, and essential lighting as part of the standard setup.
The venue’s trump card is its connection with the local community – the open space of Ložionica represents a new concept of public space, easily adaptable to various needs, from informal work parks and outdoor exhibitions to fairs and large-scale events. At its heart lies an open-air amphitheatre, featuring the original concrete structure of the turnstile, while 30% of the area is covered with greenery, enhancing its natural appeal.
Did you know?
On the site of today’s water tower, three buildings have stood over time. The first was destroyed during the Great War, after which a new one was built in the same location. Since 1945, the water tower has retained its final form. The structure has been reconstructed, with its terracotta-red hue reflecting the characteristic colour of The Gazelle Bridge. Inside, a 20-meter-high space with an 8-meter diameter is designed for digital projections.
Ložionica stands on the site of the former steam locomotive turning point, which will celebrate its 100th anniversary in 2025. The fire pits were once used to ignite flames and heat water, generating the steam that powered locomotives. Today, that same driving spirit continues to inspire, motivating event organisers and attendees to honour railway heritage while creating a space that attracts future generations and preserves the story of the past.
