The Annual Croatian Tourism Awards were presented in Dubrovnik, recognising the best in Croatian tourism in 2025. In front of more than 1,300 participants, Rovinj was named the Tourist Destination of the Year and the new champion of Croatian tourism. HeadOnEast – Osijek was awarded Tourism Event of the Year, while in the People in Tourism category, the Anton Štifanić Annual Award for companies/institutions/associations went to the Linđo Folklore Ensemble from Dubrovnik.

The Anton Štifanić Annual Award for individuals was given to Kristijan Iličić, while the Lifetime Achievement Awards were presented to Jako Andabak and Boris Žgomba.

The Ministry of Tourism and Sports awarded special honours titled “Ambassador of Croatian Tourism”, received by Zrinka Ljutić, Dina Levačić, Velimir Šandor, Emma Mečić, and the Croatian national handball team, with head coach Dagur Sigurdsson accepting the award on the team’s behalf.

For the first time, the Local Host of the Year award—Vaš domaćin godine (LOCAL HOST)—was presented, with the honour going to Selma Seifert, owner of the holiday home Divjake Log Home – Queen of the Forest (Plevci, Gorski kotar).

As a reminder, these awards are jointly presented by the Ministry of Tourism and Sports, the Croatian National Tourist Board, and the Croatian Chamber of Commerce across a total of 21 categories.
