Garden events in the heart of Prlekija
Vila Trate is a truly distinctive estate , a 110-year-old property and protected cultural monument that honours both Slovenian and Prlekija’s local heritage. In the past, it operated as an inn, while today the building offers five superbly appointed apartments along with outdoor spaces suitable for events. Its historical roots date back to 1876.
Vila Trate has become a popular venue for events, particularly thanks to its spacious wooden barn featuring three covered terraces for socialising and an outdoor kitchen. The estate offers extensive open green areas surrounded by lush woodland, and guests can also enjoy a refreshing swimming pool.
Event organisers will be particularly impressed by the estate’s two preserved wine cellars, where guests can sample some of the finest traditional wines and sparkling wines of Prlekija beneath the shelter of historic stone vaults. In the heart of Prlekija, participants can also enjoy a diverse range of experiences. Among the most popular activities are cycling and hiking to destinations such as Jeruzalem, Svetinje, Gajševsko jezero and Blaguško jezero.
