From 10 May, the MesseQuartier Basel (MQ) will become the focal point of the Eurovision festivities, offering fans, music lovers, and curious visitors an exciting atmosphere with unique meeting spaces, inspiring formats, and delicious food. The Eurovision Village will be fully accessible and barrier-free, ensuring everyone can take part in the celebration.
The MesseQuartier Basel will serve as the central hub for Eurovision fans, with a variety of indoor and outdoor spaces for concerts, public viewings, and parties from 10-17 May 2025. The Eurovision Village and EuroClub & Café will offer a lively, inclusive atmosphere for visitors to celebrate music, culture, and new experiences. This exciting space will feature a dynamic program of events, creating a vibrant ESC hotspot. Basel will also showcase its cultural side with Claudia Comptes’ “Lightning Symphony” installation, adding an artistic flair to the celebration.

The Eurovision Show Week will begin on May 11, 2025, with an opening ceremony at 2 p.m. in the heart of Basel. Delegations will then parade across the Mittlere Brücke on the Turquoise Carpet, a 1.3-kilometre route, before arriving at the Eurovision Village for a stage program and interviews. The opening will be followed by a lively party featuring Luca Hänni and various DJs, setting the stage for an unforgettable week of Eurovision celebrations.
The MesseQuartier Basel ensures accessibility for all with barrier-free areas and special accommodations for wheelchair users, neurodivergent, deaf, and elderly visitors. A Quiet Room in the Eurovision Village will offer a peaceful retreat, and special program items will be available with sign language translation. Basel is committed to providing a safe and respectful environment for all, with a 24/7 support hotline and awareness programs to ensure an inclusive and welcoming ESC experience for everyone.
