A NOD TO ZAGREB’S BURGEONING CRAFT BEER SCENE
On the southern edge of Zagreb’s urban heart, an industrial building was repurposed as a new venue that feels less like a traditional pub and more like an architectural claim about Croatia’s burgeoning craft-beer culture. The newly launched SIP Pub, unveiled by the team behind Zmajska pivovara, will double as one of the largest hospitality spaces currently entering the city’s gastro-nightlife ecosystem. Event organisers are already eyeing the venue for out-of-the-box events.
SIP unfolds as a multi-layered hospitality hall, effortlessly shifting from laid-back dining to lively networking and grand celebrations. Housed in a former railway industrial building, the venue proudly displays its utilitarian roots with exposed brick, soaring ceilings and sweeping sightlines. At its heart, a central bar anchors the spacious main floor, beckoning guests to gather and explore.
Rising above, two mezzanine rooms gaze down onto the main hall, creating a dynamic, multi-level experience. This tiered design keeps energy flowing between floors, making it ideal for everything from lively festivals to intimate tastings and grand receptions. The venue can comfortably welcome up to 250 guests.
Zmajska pivovara, Croatia’s trailblazing modern craft brewery founded in 2013, helped ignite the nation’s independent beer revolution. SIP Pub now stands as a permanent showcase for its ever-evolving portfolio.
