An architectural icon and a wine paradise

Zlati Grič is home to one of the most modern wineries in Styria, a golf course, and apartments set within a 15th-century winegrower’s manor. A place where the tradition of viticulture, contemporary architecture and idyllic natural surroundings come together, it offers a unique setting for business meetings, private celebrations, cultural evenings and gastronomic events

At the heart of the complex stands a contemporary winery set on the edge of the vineyards, covering as much as 3,500 square metres and housing up to 1.3 million litres of wine. The winery itself is a striking architectural landmark that impresses visitors with its modern design, seamlessly integrated into the surrounding landscape. In the immediate vicinity of the cellar stands Gostilna Zlati Grič, where local cuisine meets an outstanding wine selection. This is where tastings and culinary evenings frequently take place, while the restaurant’s understated elegance also provides an ideal setting for intimate events and business lunches.

Flexible spaces for events

The tasting room is well suited for hosting events and can accommodate approximately 60 guests. The space is adaptable and allows for team-building activities, private celebrations or business events, which can be complemented by guided tastings, tours of the winery and accompanying culinary programmes. Guests can also stay overnight at the Vinogradniški dvorec Zlati Grič, a 15th-century cultural monument that has been carefully restored in recent years and offers three spacious apartments for up to ten guests in total.

Events at Zlati Grič often go beyond traditional formats. In addition to weddings, end-of-year celebrations and business meetings, the estate is increasingly recognised as a venue for themed wine-and-dining evenings. Among these, the Noč renskega rizlinga stands out, attracting wine and culinary enthusiasts each year with a selection of fine wines and multi-course menus in a romantic setting under the stars.

A distinctive feature of the estate is also the golf course stretching through the vineyards, adding a special character to the setting. The experience is further enhanced by the surrounding area, rich in historical and natural attractions. Nearby landmarks such as Žička kartuzija, Stari grad nad Konjicami and the nearby Pohorje ensure that every event at Zlati Grič becomes part of a wider destination story.
