Events in a former spinning mill
In the former spinning mill in Tržič, the heart of the community once beat strongly. Within its walls, the story of generations unfolded, as the company supported hundreds of families, cared for its employees and became an indispensable part of the town.
Where machines once rattled and the air was filled with the scent of freshly woven fabrics, today stands a distinctive venue waiting for new events and new stories. The space has reopened with a renewed purpose, where rich industrial heritage now intertwines with contemporary creativity, culture and forward-looking events.
The entire complex of spaces within the renovated section of the former mill is available for hire. Depending on the needs of your event, individual units can also be rented separately. The main hall, covering 500 square metres, is suitable for larger events, weddings, concerts or exhibitions. A smaller hall of 270 square metres is ideal for more intimate gatherings, creative workshops or business events. Additional support spaces totalling 25 to 30 square metres are also available, including changing rooms, technical support areas, backstage facilities and space for catering preparation. The venue also provides direct access to a viewing tower offering exceptional views over Tržič and the surrounding hills, adding a distinctive feature to any event.
The Cotton Spinning and Weaving Mill in Tržič was founded in 1885 by Edmund Glanzmann. At its peak, BPT provided employment for as many as 1,500 people. Today, the space seems perfectly suited to weddings with character. It is also ideal for cultural and artistic events, exhibitions, concerts and performances. The venue is available for filming, fashion shows and design markets, as well as for business events, presentations and training sessions.
