Worldwide growth across key regions
Nearly 3,000 companies are exhibiting, either on their own booths or as booth partners, with many regions in particular expanding their presence. Africa, Latin America and the Asia Pacific have all increased their footprint and are bringing new exhibitors: Angola, Mauritius, São Paulo, and Uzbekistan, among others.
Alongside strong representation from North America, Europe and the Middle East, the major global hotel groups are also out in force. These include Marriott, Hilton, and Radisson, with Hyatt and IHG among those expanding their booth space.
New research announcements
IMEX Frankfurt 2026 will also be the stage for a series of major sector announcements, with updates from both established and emerging destinations, including a new convention bureau, a new international airport and an extensive study into event legacy. Partners will also unveil critical new industry research covering key topics such as global economic impact, legacy, sustainability and incentives.

Surprise and inspiration
The show’s 200+ session learning program has been curated to give global event professionals the insights, contacts and inspiration they need to enhance their own meetings. Most of the sessions take place at the Inspiration Hub, located in a redesigned Hall 9—a revitalised space crafted to surprise, welcome and inspire attendees and where IMEX’s Design Matters Talking Point will come to life.
The majority of IMEX learning sessions confer points toward Certified Meeting Professional (CMP) or ICCASkills accreditations and CSEP (Certified Special Event Professional) Approval.
IMEX Frankfurt is taking place at Messe Frankfurt, May 19-21. Learn more here.
