Dušica Todorović has joined the management team of Cankarjev dom as Director of the Congress and Commercial Sector and Assistant to the Director General.

Before she was appointed Director of the Congress and Commercial Sector, Dušica Todorović had been working at Cankarjev dom for over twenty years. Throughout this period, she successfully contributed to the sector’s development and marketing through a variety of leadership and project roles, with a particular focus on securing and delivering domestic and international conferences and other events at the highest professional level.

In her new leadership position, she brings a combination of extensive experience, in-depth knowledge of the institution’s internal processes, strong engagement with the international business environment and professional associations within the meetings industry, and proven leadership and organisational skills. She holds a Master’s degree in Management from the Faculty of Management of the University of Primorska and is a lecturer at the Bled School of Management.

Upon assuming her new role, Dušica Todorović said: “I take on the position of Director of the Congress and Commercial Sector of Cankarjev dom with great pride and a strong sense of responsibility. Even after all the years I have spent working here, I continue to admire this institution. I am grateful for the trust placed in me and look forward to further developing an area that makes a significant contribution to the visibility, professional excellence, and business success of Slovenia’s largest cultural and congress centre.”

Jure Novak, Director General of Cankarjev dom, welcomed the new member of the management team, noting that her knowledge and experience bring additional energy and momentum to the organisation.
