Q: The readers of Kongres magazine chose you as one of the most influential people in the South East European Meetings industry. What does this recognition mean to you?

All recognitions please my soul, especially if they come from such an experienced audience.

Q: If you look back at the 2016, what would you say were your major achievements?

My biggest achievement is setting up a solid framework of the new USP for Bratislava based on its intellectual potential and competences. Thanks to a great team of people I was honored to work with, we have managed couple of great projects this year, that were very warmly welcomed by the international buyers, as well as by the local MICE community.

Q: 3. 2017 – New Year, new plans, new business objectives?

Besides creating a tailored strategy for every M.I.C.E.-letter, we will set up active work groups from private, public and academic sectors to attract business meetings from the strongest business segments in Slovakia collectively.

Q: Which event are you looking forward to attend next year and why?

Bratislava will hold its biggest association meeting ever, the 53rd Congress of the European Societies of Toxicology. Besides that, I will be a part of Conventa for the first time, and have to say, from what I have heard, my expectations are pretty high J. And least, but not last, I am looking forward to the ICCA Summit, being held just around the corner in Prague.

Q: Which trends do you believe will shape the meetings industry in 2017?

To be honest, I do not believe in trends in general. From my own perspective, being creative, passionate, hard-working, open to new opportunities and capable to enjoy the work in its core is the best way to shape your life. Especially in such a quick-changing and multi-influence field of meeting industry.

Q: What is your wish for 2017?

I wish we could create a bigger network or a team of equally passionate MICE people in Slovakia on all levels.
