Tourism in one of main economic forces of Croatia and one of their main focuses in recent years has been also luxury tourism, with many openings of new 5-star hotel all over the country.


Croatia with around 1,000 islands, maximizes also this beautiful spots that offer visitors amazing experiences in the middle of unspoilt nature. One of the last luxury projects announcement is also the 5-star Resort Project on Island Brač. A multi-million Euro investment is set to see a 5-star resort built in the new tourist zone of Luka Bay, located between Pučišća and Povlja. The 5-star resort will span over 170,000 m² and have 700 beds. If everything goes accordingly to the plan, the project could be complete in 5 years.

Island Brač is the largest island of the central Dalmatian group of islands and the third largest among the Adriatic islands with his area of 394.57 km² and 13,824 habitants. Its rich cultural and historic heritage date back to pre-historic times and with their unique gastronomy full of seafood and local specialities, their beautiful beaches and bays, crystal blue sea, high quality accommodation in private facilities and the hospitality of the local people, this proved to be winning formula for a perfect getaway location.

With the new luxury 5-star Resort, the area is going to be even more attractive to high-end guest who enjoy the top-class accommodation and services. Beside the 5-star resort, the Island of Brač will also get a totally new part of port Pučišće and Brač airport will get an extension to the runway, so they will be able to welcome planes with 150 passengers from May 2017 on.

Croatia has amazing nature, rich cultural and historic part, so their strategy proved to be correct and they are becoming one of the most popular tourist places in the world.
