Both Kozlovic and Kabola are amongst the most famous Istrian wine brands. Kozlovic Winery is located in the hidden valley of Vale near Momjan and has been founded on the family tradition of four generations of the Kozlovic family. After the sightseeing and educational visit, guests are offered a tasting of famous autochthonous Istrian wines. The Kabola story begins back in 1891, and the family’s bottle of Muškat momjanski from that year bears witness to this. The Kabola vineyards are also located near Momjan, where the specific climate of the Istrian hinterland and the clay soil rich in marl give the wines a recognisable flavour and aroma that convey the region and its specificities. At both wineries guests are offered a guided tour of the wine cellar and wine production process
