Tourism New Zealand has recommitted to being an ICCA Association Relations Partner for a further two years in a bid to make New Zealand the destination of choice for association meetings.

Launched in 2016, ICCA’s collaborative ARP programme allows partner destinations to strengthen their own ties with association executives and increase their profile within the international association community through a range of online services and networking opportunities. This includes hosting a number of top international association executives and meeting directors at the annual ICCA Congress.

Anna Fennessy, Tourism New Zealand Global Manager Business Events, says: “Tourism New Zealand was one of ICCA’s original Association Relations Partners and we are delighted to strengthen our relationship by signing for another two years. We are seeing significant growth in the number of international associations choosing New Zealand to host their conferences. Gaining access to association executives provides invaluable opportunities to share what New Zealand can offer in terms of conference facilities and support. By listening to and working with associations we can help deliver impactful events that bring maximum benefit to the organisation and its wider aims while providing a legacy for the local knowledge community.”

“With two new convention centres being built, it is essential that we remain at the forefront of the associations meeting community and build upon our momentum. We look forward to working even more closely with ICCA over the coming months.”
