The FORUM Zagreb Congress Centre has been enriching Zagreb’s business events sector since 2012. More than 1,560 m2 of modernly furnished space, 9 multifunctional conference rooms and technological innovations made it an important venue provider in Croatia. Unfortunately, just like the rest of the meetings industry, the pandemic also took its toll on the FORUM Zagreb congress centre.

“Even before the lockdown in Croatia, we began to feel the consequences. Although it was all almost painless at first, we weren’t really even aware of what the whole world was going to turn into, not just the functioning of our small, specific activity for events and meetings. The year 2020 was extremely stressful and stressful for everyone, and it left us an indelible mark of almost 400 cancelled events and a drop in traffic of 82%.” said the team at FORUM Zagreb.

With all efforts to continue doing business and even implementing hybrid and online event solutions into their services, in the end, the team had to make a difficult decision to cease all business related to the congress centre. If it had not been for the pandemic, the congress centre would be celebrating 9 years of successful operations, 5.500 organised events and over 190.000 visitors.

“Each event was a challenge in itself. Each event brought new experiences, new friends and memorable moments. We learned a lot, enjoyed it, educated ourselves and always tried to keep up with new trends. We were one small, always smiling family extended by many faithful partners. We would like to thank all our clients, long-term partners and colleagues – with whom our work has always been a joy, pleasant and easy.”
