Central European capitals all have their own rivers, where cultural and gastronomic life has flourished. Bratislava lacked such a place combining the beauty of culture and water. However, a high-tech building flaunting the city’s charm has recently changed that. When creating Ponton, the goal and dream of the architects was the harmonious implementation of the most modern construction technologies.

The first cultural space on the Danube in Bratislava is designed for social and business events. The spacious hall with a view of the gems of the historical centre of Bratislava will elevate any event to a higher level.

DID YOU KNOW?

Ponton is a major technological inspiration at a European level because it stands on one of the largest concrete pontoons. The basis of Ponton’s construction is formed by large polystyrene blocks embedded in concrete. The Ponton is a delicacy for designers and an inspiration for architects.

Ponton offers everything for events and gastronomic experiences with the added aesthetic value of a unique view. The glass wall in the main hall boasts a magnificent 200 m2 opening up to the view of Bratislava Castle and the beauty of the old town. The space is equipped with professional audiovisual technology and has been designed to have perfect acoustic properties.

Bubbles Restaurant

On the upper deck of the Ponton, the designers created the trendy Bubbles bar and restaurant space, which is open to all visitors. The menu includes delicacies from chef Andrej Turček, which take guests on an inspiring culinary experience.

The layout of the Ponton’s main hall adapts to every event – a private party, conference, concert, fashion show, and more.
