From cultural celebrations to sports tournaments, Estonia’s calendar in 2025 is brimming with activities that attract local and international audiences, offering unique opportunities to engage with Estonia’s vibrant culture.
The two biggest events that will kick off Estonia’s busy year are the FIS Nordic Combined Otepää, a thrilling winter sports event featuring ski jumping and cross-country skiing, which will take place from 7 to 9 February and the Tartu Marathon, an international ski marathon in the south of Estonia, happening on the 15 and 16 February.
The headliner this spring will be the Tallinn Music Week at the start of April. As the largest indoor music festival in the Nordics, it will showcase talent from across the globe.
Summer will be vibrant in Estonia, with the iconic Song and Dance Celebration which will celebrate Estonian culture and heritage with thousands of performers at the beginning of July, while the European Disc Golf Festival, held from 17 to 20 July, offers a unique blend of sport and scenic beauty. Later, on the second weekend of September, runners from around the globe will gather for the Tallinn Marathon, weaving through the historic charm of the capital.
Film enthusiasts will have plenty to enjoy this November, as Northern Europe’s largest film festival, the Black Nights Film Festival takes place in Tallinn.
