Learning is a cornerstone of IMEX Frankfurt
Research shows curiosity to be associated with higher levels of positive emotions as well as greater engagement and performance at work. This year’s free learning program at IMEX Frankfurt has been redesigned to harness curious thinking with a focus on the new skill sets needed for event professionals to flourish at work and in other aspects of their lives.
Designed to drive business value
“At IMEX we don’t stand still – we refresh the show every year and I can guarantee this latest iteration of our extensive education program will be different to what people have experienced before,” explains Tahira Endean, IMEX’s Head of Programming. “We tackle new and often challenging topics – grief, mental health and climate anxiety to name a few – reflecting the changed (and I’d say challenging!) times we live in. When we designed the learning program, we wanted to ensure it adds to the business value and insights event professionals can already expect from the show. The benefit here is two-fold – the line-up has been shaped to respond to today’s skillset needs as well as give planners ideas of topics, formats and speakers they can embed across their own events.”
