The Slovenian Society of Cardiology, in collaboration with the European Academy of Sciences and Arts Salzburg, is proud to host the first-ever Transcutaneous Contemporary Interventions-Valves (TCI-Valves) Congress, taking place on April 10-11, 2025.

Prof. Dr. Zlatko Fras, President of the Slovenian Society of Cardiology, and Prof. Dr. Matjaž Bunc, Chairman of the Working Group for Interventional Cardiology, emphasise that this event is more than just a congress – it is a groundbreaking initiative.

According to them, “It is a confluence of innovation, expertise, and collaboration, designed to set new standards in the field of cardiology. This congress is the first of its kind, focusing on Transcutaneous Contemporary Interventions-Valves, where experienced professionals, emerging scientists, and industry innovators come together to share the latest advancements, research findings, and clinical practices. From structural operators and interventional cardiologists to echocardiography specialists and dedicated nurses, this congress brings together diverse disciplines united by a shared mission: advancing cardiological care and interventions.”

The TCI-Valves 2025 program is meticulously curated to address the most pressing issues in contemporary cardiology. Structured to stimulate discussion, inspire innovation, and foster meaningful collaborations, the program promises to be an engaging and educational experience for all attendees.

With no registration fee, the goal of the organisers is to ensure the congress is accessible to all professionals eager to enhance their knowledge and skills.

The congress will gather up to 200 participants and will take place in the Kosovel Hall and meeting rooms in the 2nd Foyer of Cankarjev dom, an ideal venue for an event of this scale.
