Last week, the Estonian Convention Bureau, in cooperation with Visit Estonia and the local partners, hosted 23 international event professionals from nine different countries for the 2025 edition of the Meet Estonia FAM Trip. The four-day programme was thoughtfully curated to highlight Estonia’s unique appeal as a meetings and incentive destination through an immersive experience of the country’s culture, innovation, hospitality, and natural beauty.

From the very beginning, guests were introduced to the remarkable contrasts that make Estonia so special, where centuries-old heritage meets a digital future, and vibrant cities are just moments away from peaceful, untouched landscapes. The journey began in Tallinn, where participants were guided through the UNESCO-listed Old Town on a theatrical tour, followed by a hands-on marzipan painting session at the historic Maiasmokk Café. The day ended with a medieval-style networking dinner with Estonian meetings industry suppliers, setting a warm and memorable tone for the days ahead.

During the FAM-trip, guests visited some of Tallinn’s top venues for meetings and events. Highlights included the Creative Hub — a former power plant turned into a dynamic event space, the striking Seaplane Harbour as well as a number of conference hotels.

In Telliskivi Creative City, Tallinn’s buzzing cultural quarter, participants explored team-building activities such as craft gin tasting at Junimperium Distillery, leather workshop at Stella Soomlais Studio to learn about sustainable design, and a zero waste networking dinner at Fotografiska Tallinn.

Estonia’s reputation as a digital pioneer was also front and centre. Guests toured the e-Estonia Briefing Centre and Rakett69 Science Studio, gaining firsthand insight into the country’s cutting-edge public digital solutions. For those drawn to history and culture, the programme offered a visit to the Estonian Open Air Museum, where guests explored heritage buildings and took part in a unique workshop at the Seto house. There, they discovered Estonia’s beloved superfood kama — learning to mix, taste, and appreciate this traditional roasted grain blend in an engaging and interactive way.

To round out the experience and introduce the event possibilities outside of Tallinn, the post-tour took guests into the heart of Estonia’s nature. In Kõrvemaa and Lahemaa, participants went off-road on a vintage jeep safari and learned about Estonian nature during a guided snowshoe hike through the Viru Bog. The final evening was spent in the tranquil surroundings of Vihula Manor Country Club & Spa, offering a serene and scenic conclusion to the journey.

The 2025 Meet Estonia FAM Trip once again affirmed Estonia’s position as a distinctive and multifaceted destination for international meetings and incentives. With its blend of modern infrastructure, authentic cultural experiences, technological innovation, and untouched nature, Estonia offers a fresh and inspiring setting for planners seeking originality, quality, and meaningful connections.
