DOOS is actively advocating for regulatory frameworks that ensure high standards of practice and education within the field. By aligning with ECOO’s initiatives, Slovenia aims to harmonise its practices with European standards, significantly improving eye care services for its citizens.
Rupal Lovell-Patel, the President of the association, said: “The EAOO annual conferences have been growing year on year whilst offering a wide range of presentations on a variety of topics as well as skills workshops. It is an amazing event for networking with peers from across the globe who are all passionate about the profession and developing their knowledge so that they can continue to provide quality, evidence-based eye care for their patients.”
